Tawny's Story

I have a dog named Jake, who's about 8 years old. And all the time, he barks and barks at my older sisters room. I know that animals can sense ghosts, mainly dogs, so I kinda freaked out. My older sister disregards that there's anything wrong, but I heard her talking to my mom, saying that she wanted to move. And, when my parents used my older sisters room for a room for my little sister when she was three, my little sister screamed and cried at night, saying that ghosts were trying to take her. I'm not sure what's wrong with that room...but one time, I heard someone whispering my name when I walked by her door, and no one was there. I sometimes get scratches that I can't explain too. Long, red ones.

I don't know what it is, but I thought I'd ask you. I mean, it could be my fear of ghosts playing a trick on my mind.

I actually think you may have something. Possibly. I'm not saying you do but I'm also not implying you don't. You see, dogs and horses are very well aware of the paranormal beings, as scientists have informed us so. They are able to hear and see things that are unexplainable but that could be just the sound deferential. I mean, there is a "spirit" as my mother has proclaimed, that is seen sometimes around my house and my dog is often growling at no one, and one time when I was home alone with my twin brother the downstairs door slammed shut. My cat is often looking into this one corner and I always think it's because my cat isn't all there, but really he's smart and I love him, so there possibly could be an entity in your sister's room. It's quite possible.
Please, it seems interesting, if you could keep tabs on what's going on and let me help debunk this ghoul-ey encounters.

Celestah/Solar/Darksong's Sister's Story

Every time we go to my aunts house in Concord CA she always climbs in bed with me and wakes me up. I finally asked her why and she says she sees these little white lights in thhe guest bedroom she is in. She told me that every time she tries to look at them they dissippear. She is now telling me she tihnks their eyes. Now one thing you need to know about my sister is that she has a phobia of being alone in the dark, so I think it is her phobia but... she wanted me to tell you about it and see what you think 'cause our 'rents don't beleive her.

Now, what you tell me is, that she's been seeing white lights? Those, may be considered as "orbs" to some people, mainly believers, but in this case, since your sister has a phobia of being alone.. Hmm, it sounds interesting. Once I become a paranormal investigator (I can dream can't I?) I'd definatly want to check it out, but in the mean time, I think it could be just a trick of the imagination.
You see, I have a phobia of closed spaces, and at night, when I am going to sleep I can often see the walls moving in and out slowly, almost like they are breathing. Like they are ready to inclose on me, but I know it's just my imagination playing a trick on me.
It could just be that your sister's adrenaline is pumping, and her fears are growing when she's alone that her concious makes out lights or objects, appearing to be "orbs" or something out of the ordinary, but there have been reports of the paranormal, and things aren't always what they seem.
If you can, can you inform me of what happens the next time you go back to your aunt's?

A Little About Me

Yes, I do want to be a parnormal investigator but! I am a skeptical. I'm not saying I believe in all these creatures, I need cold-hard-facts to make me believe there are beings from another world or have been hiding from man-kind for thousands of years.
My paranormal role models are Josh Gates and Erin Ryder from Destination Truth  and Jael De Pardo and Ben Hansen from Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files. Though don't be fooled, I love all of the people on both Destination Truth and Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files.
I can't help but be so interested by the myths that come from all across the world! I mean, I've always loved mythology though I never believed in these creatures and when I'm watching any paranormal television shows or movies I always think of possibilities.
The possibilities of mistaken identies. On one of the Destination Truth episodes, I can't remember which one but it was somewhere in Africa where they were having trouble with this so called "beast" by the description and the animation of it in the beginning I kinda made an assumption.
Hyena.
But me being a little slow with my hyena knowledge, I didn't exactly know if they lived in Africa.. obviously they do.
Well that's me making an easy mistaken identity match-up...
Anyways, does anybody have any idea on how you become a paranormal investigator? I really want to be one D:

Life on Mars?

I've thought and thought about this topic. I was going to write another post about sasquatches but it's probably boring. Anyways...
Little green men.
What comes to mind when you hear that? Or possibly,
UFO's.
UFO's mean Unidentified Flying Object. UFO's have been mainly connected with aliens. What're aliens? They are the creatures flying the UFOs. Apparently coming from other planets or galaxies. The myths about aliens is known worldwide. I've yet to find a city/towne that does not known about these creatures.
Where did the myth come from? Who knows! The thing I like to say is: For all mythical beings and paranormal creatures is, why? There has to be a reason why everyone knows about these creatures.
Anyways, back to the aliens.
I was in class, and in science I'm learning about space exploration and such when a thought occured to me and became my possible theory.

To me, for sure their are aliens. I mean how can you not be a believer?! There are so many reasons why there could be other life in space! For once thing their are millions and millions of galaxies and in these galaxies are stars/planets.

We live in the Milky Way Galaxy the closest one to us I think takes a life time to travel too! I guess what I'm trying to say is no one knows how big the universe is, except that it is really, really, really large.

That's my theory.

I'd like to know what you guys think of this. I want to know your encounters with anything and what I really want to know is what you guys want to learn/hear more about! I'd be happy to find out!

Sasquatch or Bigfoot

In my culture the sasquatch is well known. Legends have been passed down from generation to generation. It is an unexplained phenomenon. Many believe this myth to be true, while others are quick to disagree. I, myself have had an encounter. It wasn't a physical encounter but... you have to read on to get what I mean.

Last year, while I was spending the night at my best friend, Patricia's house with my other best friend Willard, we were gaming out. Playing Modern Warfare 2 all night and telling ghost stories. I told the one of my mother, when she was young having an encounter with what she thought of as a real UFO and of how my aunties were chased out of their tree fort they made near an Indian burial ground. Anyways we were all scared and I was hiding by Willard. We were laying in Patricia's bed, all three of us, while Patricia's younger sister was laying on the floor. Seeing that her sister was getting up Patricia shined the light on her. When me and Willard looked she was getting up and she looked like a zombie and that scared us. Me and Willard started cussing and we like huddled with each other 'cause we got startled. Sound funny? It was! But than Patricia's sister fell asleep again and it was only me, Willard, and Patricia up. We were talking again and all three of us were getting freaked out 'cause it was 3 o'clock am and that's when the spirits/ghosts start to come out. Well around 2:30 and 3:00am and so we were all jumpy. It was the summer and it was hot out, even at night so Patricia had her window wide open, but there was a screen to keep bugs and mosquitos out. Anyways all of a sudden we heard a death scream! I basically crapped bricks! I grabbed Willard's hand and I like buried myself into him while Patricia did that to my back. All three of us stayed dead silent for a half an hour before finally discussing what we heard. We all came to the conclusion that is must've been a sasquatch. There have been sightings of them from where I live all the way to another indian reservation, a reserve called Chehalis. There everyone believes in the bigfoot. They even have a tour place called "The Sasquatch Tours" and my grandpa's wife (my step grandmother) her sister owns "The Sasquatch Tours" and her son runs it. I went to it as a school field trip when I was in grade 5 and I didn't see anything but a seal. But the son told me personally that he had seen a real life sasquatch with it's baby which was taller than me. He said they were at the river drinking and they cupped their hands and were drinking from the water. My mother told me to not listen to them, she said they were a crazy family but then again my mother never liked my step grandma...

Believe or not believe, I'm not for sure that what I heard was a sasquatch but I have many more stories of bigfoot. My own twin brother was staying at the river where "The Sasquatch Tours" are held for a camp and he heard huge boulders being thrown and a death cry. Again, for certain we do not know what we heard, but to me, I personally believe it was a sasquatch.

British Columbia is a place where sasquatch/bigfoot sitings are most reported. It's your choice if your a believer or an onlooker.

Poppy's Story

This is silly but it freaks me out. I had a little flash light that was bright yellow. Well I kept it on my bed table for safe keeping. Well since it was bright yellow I could see it in the dark. one night I was staring at it then I blinked and it disappeared. I turned the light on and looked ever where I couldn't find it! But every time I needed it it returned but no matter where I put it in the morning it was gone! I thought of just holding it but the yellow flash light never returned as it knew of its fate.

Poppy, your story isn't silly. It could be the paranormal playing a trick on you. People have stated that ghosts and spirits have played tricks, especially ghosts that happen to be children. Like the case at a hotel, their was this little boy who drowned in the river nearby. His mother used to work at the hotel as a housekeeper. People have claimed to see apparitions of the young boy and also have reported their jewlery missing or moved around. But, if you can tell me more about the origin of where you live, or any stories envolving and deaths or anything circling around an explination, I'd be more than happy to help you on your little flashlight incident.
